The Democrat National Committee held their first round of debates the last two nights. What we have learned from watching the future Democrat presidential candidate hopefuls is that socialism wins the day. The DNC presidential debate was a sprint toward socialism. It is also clear that Donald Trump is the real winner of the DNC National Debate.
Night one of the DNC Presidential Debate
The first night of the DNC presidential debate was a prequel to the pandering of socialism. The night was filled with little electricity as those like Corey Booker and Elizabeth Warren took the stage. While we cannot take time to cover all of the comments made from the first night we would like to give you a short glimpse as to what we did find interesting.
Corey Booker at the DNC Debate
Spartacus Corey Booker was quick to chime in on several occasions from the Wednesday night debate. He stated that he would not be taking PAC monies. He also stated that he would not be taken corporate monies. Well, let me shine a little light on this subject.
New Jersey hosts the headquarters of many major pharmaceutical companies and they have long had good relations with the New Jersey delegations. Booker said in 2017 that he would put “a pause” on accepting money from the industry. In 2016, pharmaceutical PACs gave $57,500 to Booker. Becton, Dickinson & Co, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Sanofi PACs all contributed $5,000 each in 2016. Before that, in 2014, a cycle he was actually running in, Booker’s campaign took in $161,000 in pharmaceutical PAC money. Pfizer contributed $17,500, Merck & Co gave $12,500 and several more gave $10,000 each.
Booker also had recent fundraising success with his leadership PAC, Purpose PAC. During the 2018 cycle, the PAC raised more than $1.23 million. So while he is telling you one thing, he is doing another.
Elizabeth Warren at the DNC Debate
Focahontas was one of two to raise her hand when asked who would abolish their private health insurance in favor of a government-run plan. The only other person to raise their hand was DeBlasio. Elizabeth Warren has swung far left as she has progressed during this campaign.
Elizabeth Warren was then asked why she had signed on to the plan proposed by wack-o socialist Bernie Sanders. This was her response.
“I’m with Bernie on Medicare for all. There are a lot of politicians who say, oh it’s just not possible, we just can’t do it. They have a lot of political reasons for this. What they are really telling you is they just won’t fight for it.”Elizabeth Warren
Warren then went on to spew the mantra of what has become a Democrat battle cry. “Healthcare is a basic human right.” To me, I scratch my head as to why they want to claim that healthcare is a basic human right, but life is not.
