In the shadow of everything going on in the Middle East, especially in the wake of the bombing at the Kabul airport where we lost Marines and a Sailor, it feels somehow irreverent to be joyful or silly. But we cannot let evil win, so I’m setting out to remind us of the beauty of God. All around us are reminders, we just need to take the time to look. Also: Apple donuts are nearly upon us!! It’s almost time! And I break the cardinal rules of white girl-dom: I don’t like pumpkin spice lattes or the smell of lavender! Eeek!

In all the awfulness that seems to be circling all around, it’s easy to get lost in the despair that evil brings with it. We are living through unprecedented times and it’s sometimes hard to remember God is right here with us. As horrors unfold all over the world and we feel more alienated than ever, we need to remember God uses difficult times to bring people closer to Him. We are not alone!

Fourteen Republicans have decided to call for the resignation of the Biden Administration. Well thanks for finally joining the fight, but where the hell are the rest of you at? What could you possibly be doing that is more important than demanding the safe removal of American citizens from Afghanistan and marching Articles of Impeachment across the hall to the Senate? What the HELL are you window lickers doing?

Much like the MIA Feminists who seem to not recognize that this is their moment in the sun, where are the Republicans at? Where are our articles of impeachment? Why aren’t they hammering this situation down the throats of every lousy Democrat on the Hill from sun up to sun set? Psst: Republicans, what are you waiting on??

If you were waiting for the right moment to bust out your stupid hat and hoist your sign, ladies, this is it. You’ve been weirdly silent on the trans-in-women’s-sports take over, and we haven’t heard a peep from you regarding the dire situation facing women and girls in Afghanistan. Are you really this pathetic and pointless, seeking to shriek at the sky only during the Supreme Court Nomination hearings? Are you really this useless or are you unsure of what to do when faced with actual oppression? Also: We must be over the target for a train wreck as big as the one occurring in Afghanistan to take place. They need this kind of chaos and butchery to captivate the American minds in order to obfuscate the truth and results of the AZ audit.

In an unsurprising display of ineptitude, Joe Biden withdraws the last of our troops from Afghanistan, conveniently forgetting weapons, a couple of drones, about 100 humvees, and Blackhawks. The embassy was evacuated in a scene reminiscent of Saigon. They’ll try to spin this on Trump, but the entire world knows Trump would never have allowed this to happen. And the world respected Trump in that he put the bad guys on notice. Also: Make sure you are following America’s Frontline Doctors. They have articles and advice for how to fight this medical tyranny.

On this Friday Funday I do need to give an update on schooling. We are all out here struggling and I am no different than you all. Also: WEIRD superstitions because it IS Friday the 13th!!!!

My fight with the Diocese has essentially ended in us pulling our daughter from the school. How can you preach about faith when fear rules you? When the Principal isn’t interested in science and is totally okay with Rules for Thee, Houston we have a problem. Also: Have you checked out the CDC’s pdf on Shielding? Homework tonight is to look into that. They’re talking about removing “high risk” folks (of any age, but especially old folks) and putting them in “green zones.” So, anyone ready for camp? Maybe the officials can wear snazzy uniforms in a dark grey or black, tailored by Hugo Boss?

Obama’s party looked lit. Rich folks having a great, maskless time on his Martha’s Vineyard estate. I’m not sure what the intentions were of the DJ who leaked the photos, but regardless they set the internet ablaze. And as much as the Obama’s have tried to do damage control, the internet is forever. Some folks want an apology, but I say no way. This is a golden egg opportunity, and Deplorables we need to use it.
