Many people believe that AI is the next step in human evolution. They believe if we integrate with machines we can escape our biology—and maybe even death itself.
This kind of thinking flows from an evolutionary worldview. If we’ve evolved from lower life forms through naturalistic processes, maybe we can give nature a hand and control our future evolution.
But we didn’t evolve, and we aren’t getting better! We were created perfect, but because of our sin we now suffer and die. True hope of escaping death is only possible because Jesus died in our place and offers the gift of eternal life to all who will believe.
