You read that title right.  Evangelicals have failed President Trump.  We've failed him in multiple ways and in multiple venues.  But hope remains.  There is still time for us rectify our mistakes and to serve the President well, but serving the Truth.

Ryan and Phillip take the entire hour to interview former President Obama staffer and author of "Reclaiming Hope: Lessons Learned in the Obama White House About the Future of Faith in America."

Michael brings a unique perspective on faith and the public square. Michael's view is one that transcends both ideology and regional bias and also details the avenues in which the partnership between the public sector and the faith community can meet their stated goals.

As the summer heats up, the Fourth of July is just around the corner.  Ryan and Phillip discuss their favorite Fourth of July traditions, the history behind the date, and the meaning behind what it means to be an American.  More importantly though, Ryan and Phillip give context on what it means to be a Jesus person who lives in America.  

HHIEOY: Phillip talks the WaPo expose that just came out regarding the Russian meddling in 2016 elections.  Ryan discusses a 5 part blog series on the alt-right.  

Segment 4: Primarily we discuss Propaganda's upcoming album.  

Ryan and Phillip change things up a little bit and start with a commentary on Philando Castile.  Both Ryan and Phillip have a strong history of standing up and addressing injustice wherever they see it.  In the wake of the verdict, Ryan and Phillip are compelled to respond.  

Segments 2-4, Ryan and Phillip are joined again by friend of the show Alan Cross, where they talk about the known and unknown story of SBC Resolution 10 condemning the Alt-Right as being antithetical to the gospel message. Ryan and Phillip discuss the confirmation hearing of the deputy director of the White House budget office.  In this hearing, Bernie Sanders in essences accused the nominee that because of his faith, he is unable to be objective towards people who are not Christians.
