The big talking point online this week seemed to be Ted's funeral, and just how inappropriate it may have been to have used it as a vehicle for some attempted humour, so we start off Street Talk by sharing our thoughts about that. And Tim freaking out about the possibility of the undead Ted bursting out of his casket isn't the only encounter the Street residents have with the recently deceased this week either, as Johnny's still having his hallucinations of Aidan, Leanne's employed the services of a psychic to contact Oliver, and Yasmeen has another encounter with Geoff when she visits the bank. It was a bit of an odd week this week, all things considered, but we give it our best shot dissecting it!

Next up on the podcast, we take a look at Beverly Callard's latest comments about why she left the show in The Kabin before finishing off the episode with more of your feedback.

It was a long, cold week for Kevin and Debbie after getting trapped in the Bistro fridge last Friday. We imagine that your experience of watching this might have depended quite heavily on how many of the blatant spoilers that were out there you saw as they kind of gave away the ending, but there were at least some lovely bonding moments between the Webster siblings that we could all enjoy. Also this week, feather-brained Leanne nearly gets hit by Mary's van, there's a medical emergency for Tyrone, and Ed's brother Ronnie makes quite an impression when he comes to visit, but what's Aggie's beef with him?

In The Kabin, we talk a bit about the recent release of the latest of Maggie Sullivan's wartime Corrie novels, The Land Girls From Coronation Street, and we round off the podcast with more of your listener feedback.

We've reached another milestone in our journey through the Corrie box sets, so for our bonus podcast this week, we have a good old natter about the episodes we've seen from the first half of the 90s. As this is an era that's only recently aired on ITV3, we imagine it's going to be one that many listeners are quite familiar with, but how did the fact that he'd only just watched it a few years ago affect Michael's appreciation of the episodes, and can Gemma keep up with everything from a time which saw an increased number of weekly episodes as well as an explosion of new characters? From classic scenes like Ken and Raquel's French lesson and the infamous waterbed incident to some of the more underappreciated gems, we have a deep dive into the time period when Michael first started watching Corrie all those years ago and share what were our favourite parts - and what are best left in the past.

This week, Johnny starts to deteriorate further as his mind starts playing tricks on him in prison - and we were on the edge of our seats all week wondering if Aidan Connor was going to make a guest appearance! Meanwhile, Kevin and Debbie get themselves in a spot of bother when they're trapped in the Bistro fridge-cum-freezer-cum-Robert-and-Michelle's-love-nest - WILL THEY SURVIVE? (Yes.) Elsewhere on the Street, Ray's at large, Leanne sees a medium and Gail comes into a small fortune.

In The Kabin, we react to this week's reports that Beverly Callard has declared a return to Corrie is now 100% off the cards (and honestly, we don't really believe it..), and we finish off the show with more of your lovely feedback.

This purple haired Percy pursuer may not have had many storylines of her own, but that didn't stop her leaving a lasting impression on viewers in the 80s and early 90s. We take a look at her what mischief she got up to during her time on the cobbles, and even hear from one Street star who pops onto the podcast to fill us in on why Phyllis is his #1 Corrie character.
