I am proud to bring you an episode of Conversations from The Inside Out, Catherine Clarke speaks openly about her long battle with depression. In this podcast, she shares her journey to heal and make peace with her past and the traumatic childhood she had which led her to depression. Catherine has immersed herself in the practice of FMTG (Gratitude) to help her heal and comes to terms with the life she created. Catherine has seen a significant change in her mental health and credits much of her recovery to the practice of learning to find the lessons in her painful event and to see, even the most horrific of things, as purposefully way.
The story, Acres of Diamonds told by Dr. Russell Conwell in 1869, has had a profound impact on my life and it beautifully conveys the power of a message we all need to hear. Happiness, fulfillment, our “Acres of Diamonds” metaphorically speaking, seem to be our most desirable goal, and yet it is also what gives birth to a lot of our internal struggle and dissatisfaction.
In this podcast, you will hear why the pursuit of happiness is wrong. It will make you realize that are standing in the middle of your own ‘acres of diamonds’ right now. Spend time nurturing your own ground. Look no further than your own stream. That is in there that your diamonds await.

The law of expectation says that 85 % of whatever we expect with confidence and faith, we get.
There is a direct correlation between our expectations and the quality of life we have.
Yet, most people don’t understand their own power and they blame their fate on life, not realizing they are the ones who are co-creating and attracting the life they have. You’re never going to get more than what you expect out of life. Join me on this podcast as I discuss the importance of expecting big!

I hope that you have enjoyed episode 1 of unconscious parenting. We need to become aware of the impact our actions can have on our children.
Sometimes the things we do for our child's immediate benefit and comfort can in fact have the opposite effect in the long-term.
In Episode 1, I discussed the importance of modeling all the things we want our children to be. If the goal is to raise children to be responsible, self-reliant, well-adjusted empathetic and grateful individuals Then the onus is on us to not micromanage, overprotect, constantly intervene and solve their every problem. Instead, we need to help them develop their own ability to self regulate. Instead of entertaining them constantly, let’s teach them to soothe themselves.
Instead of advocating for them, let them use their own voice, to develop the skill to overcome their own challenges, to help them promote self-advocacy to teach them to face their fears, embrace failing Because those are all the things that develop resilience
If we are constantly saving them from the discomfort, in the long term, we are robbing them of all the things that we actually want them to be.
Join me on episode two as we continue to discuss the effects of unconscious parenting
Your body is designed to repair and heal itself. Countless of Placebo Effect studies have been documented that proves the amazing power of our beliefs and expectations can have to ignite this innate power of our bodies for self-healing.
Join me on a conversation about how you can ignite that force in Conversations from THE INSIDE OUT.
