Making sure no area in your life is left neglected whilst you’re on the up is a challenge we all face every now and again. Whether it’s your friendships, relationship, God or Career, there has to be a balance for it all right?

So what happens when you can’t keep up and something is left unattended?

Thriving in one area but feeling redundant in another.

Sometimes the answer is to just simplify things and go back to basics.

Acknowledge how you feel yes but, don’t allow yourself to live in every emotion because not every emotion is rooted or comes from a healthy place.

In an attempt to guard our hearts it means keeping your eyes open, being alert always and not being caught off guard.

It also means not getting too comfortable right?

It gives trust no one suspect everybody vibes. It can really be confusing or conflicting when you still have to remain hopeful and be in a place of openness and be willing to trust and believe the best of everyone.

If your hope has been deferred, take each day as it comes and ask God to fill you with new hope each day. - Even if you have to ask daily.

Proverbs 13:12

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.

Let’s be real having to look at yourself in the mirror and being honest about what you see isn’t an easy thing to do. Especially when you realise or have to accept the part you may have played.

Looking in the mirror requires you to be honest about what you see. Not only that but, you have to be brave enough to accept and acknowledge what you see and that’s not the end, you have to be bold enough to put in the work to making the necessary changes.
