Yuri’s music career took off in 2001 with his self-produced hit "Arabi Ana", a track that cemented his place in the Arab music scene. Although he took a hiatus from music in 2005, Yuri made a triumphant return in 2011 with the song "Hada Mesh Ana", reaffirming his enduring relevance in the industry. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Yuri has also made his mark in the advertising industry as the Creative Services Director at Memac Ogilvy, where he oversaw all television production projects.

إلى جانب نجاحاته الموسيقية، شغل يوري منصب مدير الخدمات الإبداعية في مجموعة "ميماك أوغلفي" في 2007، حيث أشرف على جميع مشاريع الإنتاج التلفزيوني.

In this episode, Ricardo Karam meets Dr. Samir Alam, one of Lebanon's leading cardiologists who has made a significant impact on the country's medical landscape. 
Dr. Alam graduated from the American University of Beirut, where he completed his medical studies and specialized in cardiology. 
He further enhanced his expertise through a fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York.  
During his career at the American University of Beirut, Dr. Alam played a pivotal role in advancing cardiology services, leading the cardiology department to achieve major milestones in research, education, and healthcare. 
In 2016, he was appointed head of the medical team, reflecting his commitment to medical excellence.  
His contributions include establishing the "Heart Failure Unit" at the university medical center, the first specialized unit in Lebanon offering advanced treatments for heart failure patients. 
He also led Lebanon's first implantation of a subcutaneous pacemaker, marking a groundbreaking achievement in cardiac care in the region.

تشمل إسهاماته إنشاء "وحدة قصور القلب" للدكتور سمير علم" في مركز الجامعة الطبية، وهي أول وحدة متخصّصة في لبنان تقدم علاجات متقدمة لمرضى قصور القلب. وقد قاد أيضاً أول عملية زرع جهاز لتنظيم دقات القلب تحت الجلد في لبنان، محققاً بذلك إنجازاً بارزاً في الرعاية القلبية في المنطقة.

Born in Alexandria in 1958, Hana grew up as the daughter of a Lebanese diplomat, living in various countries including Egypt, Italy, Australia, Ghana, and Algeria. Frustrated by the stereotypical view of Lebanon, she embarked on a mission to unveil her country’s hidden beauty and rich heritage.
Her acclaimed book, A Million Steps (2010), encapsulates this mission. Through a photographic memoir documenting her journey across Lebanon, Hana reveals the country's breathtaking landscapes from north to south. The book, now in its third edition, inspired a movement to preserve Lebanon’s hiking trails and reimagine its global image. Her latest project, Meelo!, delves into Lebanese culinary heritage, celebrating rural life and the natural ingredients that sustain it. Hana describes it as "a mosaic of small pieces that form the beautiful picture of Lebanese cuisine."
Hana lives in Beirut with her husband Bassam and is the proud mother of three young men. Today, she continues her work to preserve Lebanon’s natural and cultural legacy, showcasing a vision of a country celebrated for its natural beauty, history, and spirit—far beyond clichés.

من خلال مذكرات مصوّرة توثّق رحلتها عبر لبنان، تكشف هنا عن مناظره الطبيعية الخلابة من الشمال إلى الجنوب. ألهم هذا الكتاب، الذي وصل إلى طبعته الثالثة، مبادرة للحفاظ على دروب المشي في لبنان وإعادة تشكيل صورته عالمياً. ويأتي مشروعها الأحدث "ميّلوا!" ليغوص في التراث الغذائي اللبناني، ويحتفي بحياة الريف ومكوناتها التي تغذيها. وتصف هنا مشروعها بأنّه "فسيفساء من قطع صغيرة تشكّل اللوحة الجميلة للمطبخ اللبناني

In this episode, Ricardo Karam engages with Maxime Chaya, Lebanon's foremost sportsman and adventurer. Born in Beirut in 1961, Maxime's early life was marked by the Lebanese Civil War, leading his family to seek refuge abroad. He pursued his education across Greece, France, Canada, and the United Kingdom, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science with honors from the London School of Economics.
Maxime's passion for extreme sports led him to achieve remarkable feats. In May 2006, he became the first Lebanese to summit Mount Everest, completing the Seven Summits challenge, the highest peak on each continent. He further distinguished himself by skiing unassisted to both the South Pole in 2007 and the North Pole in 2009, becoming the first from the Middle East to reach these milestones.
Beyond mountaineering, Maxime set a world speed record in 2013 by rowing across the Indian Ocean from Australia to Mauritius in 57 days, 15 hours, and 49 minutes. In 2016, he and his teammate became the first to cross the Empty Quarter desert on bicycles, covering approximately 1,500 kilometers in 21 days.
Maxime's journey is a testament to human endurance and the pursuit of excellence. His story continues to inspire many to overcome challenges and reach new heights.

وبعيداً عن تسلق الجبال، سجّل مكسيم رقماً قياسياً عالمياً في عام 2013 من خلال التجديف عبر المحيط الهندي من أستراليا إلى موريشيوس في 57 يوماً و15 ساعة و49 دقيقة. وفي عام 2016، أصبح هو وزميله في الفريق أول من يقطع صحراء الربع الخالي على الدراجات الهوائية قاطعين مسافة 1500 كيلومتر تقريباً في 21 يوماً.
تُعد رحلة مكسيم شهادة على قدرة الإنسان على التحمل والسعي وراء التميز. ولا تزال قصته تلهم الكثيرين للتغلب على التحديات والوصول إلى آفاق جديدة.

Raymonde recalls her big break after winning a voice-over competition, which led to her iconic voice in French-language ads and shows like *Visa pour la France*. She fondly remembers announcing Georgina Rizk's victory as Miss Universe live in July 1971, filling Télé-Liban with gifts that night. Later, she transitioned to Arabic programs, excelling in shows focused on women’s empowerment.
Raymonde’s career took her from media to jewelry, living in Switzerland and Japan before returning to Lebanon to teach etiquette. An active member of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Society, she still writes poems celebrating her homeland. Despite personal losses, including the kidnapping and murder of her husband, Pierre, during the civil war, Raymonde’s resilience shines through. She raised her children and continues advocating for positive change in Lebanon.

مرّ طارق بتجارب قاسية، منها الاحتجاز غير العادل في مصر حيث قضى أسابيع من الاحتجاز القاسي، عام ٢٠١٣، وتعرضه لإصابة خطيرة خلال تقديمه المساعدة الطبية أثناء الاحتجاجات في غزة عام ٢٠١٨، عندما أصيب برصاص قناص إسرائيلي في يوم مأساوي أودى بحياة ١٩ مسعفاً آخرين. مؤخراً، كان طارق في غزة يعالج المصابين وسط الدمار، وقد جاء الآن إلى لبنان ليقدّم خدماته دون مقابل لمساعدة المتضررين في الجنوب والبقاع.
