Should I get this shag rug? How about this fedora? What about this rusted nail from the 1800s? You don’t have to decide now, you can Pin it for it later! Frankie Wagner joins the convince me boyz to help curate their sad little lives with Pinterest. During our deep dive we learn Geoff needs a better way to get food and clothes, Thayer is too good for Kohl’s, and Ben goes to the bathroom right as an expert arrives to discuss their marriage. We debut new segments “chip or dent?”, “starch talk”, and make some regrettable comedic choices. Lastly we put Frankie’s categorization skills to the test when we throw out an assortment of images for her to pin. Chaka Khan liked Frankie’s Pinterest board, will she like this podcast? You and her will have to tune in to find out.

This week on Convince Me, Keenan Buchanan (@GetCoin) comes to the studio to talk about competitive drinking! Naturally, things get a bit fraternal... but Ben makes sure to keep the group in check. Some can't miss moments: Geoff conceives an Atari joke that will be remembered for centuries, the boys reminisce on their college personas, and Keenan mistakenly says he doesn't like the show Love, but then we realize he's talking about the movie Loving.
What are your thoughts on Love? Tell us in an iTunes review, or contact us elsewhere: [email protected] | @convincemepod | https://www.facebook.com/ConvinceMePod
Also come to Keenan and Geoff's show at the UCB Inner Sanctum on 1/18 at 8:30pm (Deets Here)

After 37 episodes, we've been convinced of a lot of things. But are we still convinced? Or to put it another way, are we now convinced of things which we were previously skeptical? Let's find out. On this episode Geoff, Thayer, and Ben revisit all the previous episodes and discuss if their opinions are still the same or have changed. As usual for a no-guest bro fest, things get weird. Also, if you're dying to hear some Maude pitches from Geoff and Thayer, this is the episode for you! Tickle Boss.

In case you haven't been following the news, Thayer's brave, honest takedown of President-Elect Trump on his recent late night Youtube talk show, "Weird Times Vol. 4" got him exiled to Cuba. With Thayer as a (hopefully temporary) ex-pat, we soldiered on with a clip show! But this is not just any clip show, this one is full of those magical morsels we call "commercials." And as a bonus for faithfully reading this description, here is a custom commercial, written just for you!
Are you tired of watching advertisements that feature boring products like deodorant, cars, and bug lawyers? I know right?! It's like, when's there gonna be an ad for grooming the hair on the discarded outer layer of a gastropod possessed by a woman? Right now, that's when! With comb-her-shells. Comb-her-shells is a specially designed grooming product for scraping across the surface of sea souvenirs collected by a woman. Comb-Her-Shells, we make the most engaging commercials! (Sorry)
Convince Me is Geoff Kaufman @geoffklive, Thayer Frechette @thayerfrechette, and Ben Cassil @bencassil.

With Thayer exiled to Cuba this week, we welcome guest-host Mike Cullen to the pod! Our guest-guest is Julie Barkster*, who tries to convince us that "dogs are people too." Julie uses her own life story to color her argument, and skillfully argues against a very well written anti-dog article from Bustle.com. The gang reminisces on their favorite dog re-skins of famous TV shows, Geoff shows off a cool new word he learned, and Ben gets interrupted a bunch of times.
*Our scheduled guest, Juliet Kaufman (@jaliza90), was extremely late and just made it in time for plugs...

Miranda Rae Hart (@Miranda__Hart) disagrees with the popular image of Kanye West. She contends that he's a great guy, a misunderstood genius in his own time. In the process of convincing, we discuss Drake's place in the Star Wars universe, unapologetic self promotion, arrogance, Taylor Swift, MC Hot Karl, Picasso, Self Esteem, and Salvador Dali Parton. We also introduce the new segment: What's Cheesin' Us Off?

This week's episode is a little... different. Jake Fallon, formerly a friend of the pod, kidnapped us and forced us to record an episode with him in the back of his van. As part of our prosecution against him, the Convince Me boys are publishing this episode for the world to hear! In the ep, Ben Cassil makes his case that Chipotle is a restaurant worth eating at once a week, Thayer deals with extreme torture, and the boys have a fun discussion about Friends.
Thanks to DJ Jazzy Jeff for his various accommodations!
Please help us soil Jake Fallon's name on the internet. His twitter handle is @jaketfallon. And make sure to post hate messages on his short film's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/homebodyfilm/?fref=ts).

“Eric Clapton makes awesome music, I wish he were my friend.” Wait! Don’t go making insane statements like that without listening to this! This week Tamara Federici (@snowpants) joins the pod to give the real story on what kind of guy Eric Clapton is, and provides a detailed breakdown on his capacity for friendship. Along the way, we go behind the music with an in-depth lyrical analysis of Clapton’s “Cocaine”, debut a track from the musical “Monkey Business”, and “get er done”! That’s not all, Geoff calls out Clapton for his lack of music videos, Ben doesn’t like British bluesman, and Thayer tries to list British things to be funny. Lastly, we cut the cheese when we debut a new segment called “what kind of pizza would x celebrity eat?”. Great title, even better segment. Will the gang try and befriend Clapton or will they leave him on his own to listen to “Cocaine” on repeat? Tune in to find out. Rock and roll baby!

Listeners, we have one question this week: what you doin' on your back? We answer that and much more, when comedian, author, and dance legend Matt Moore (@thatMattMoore) grooves on into the studio. We take a deep dive into the inspiration of the Bee Gee’s music, poo poo Lady Gaga’s marketing mishaps, and somehow talk about corn. It doesn’t stop there, Geoff opens up about his upcoming wedding with his Russian business partner/lover, Ben is a rocker, and Thayer was bullied in high school. Lastly, we debut our own version of “Who Wore It Best?” with the help of an unexpected guest. Do the boys dig what Matt is putting down? Take a listen.
