We learned of God’s order of headship last week:

1 Christ is the head of man

2 Man is the head of woman

3. God is the head of Christ

We of the assembly must conduct ourselves according to this pattern from Heaven. This is a difficult topic in our society today But we must apply it to our lives.

1 Cor 11:1-9

The Apostles of Christ do not ask the brethren to follow them, be obedient to their teaching, just because of the title they wear – NO!

But as they (the Apostles) are imitators of Christ – so the brethren may become imitators of the Lord’s Apostles.

In Chapter 11 is where we learn of God’s order for all creation. The assemblies of Christ must understand this order to be useful in the Kingdom of God.

The Apostle Paul makes clear the nature and calling of the Apostle of Christ, explaining the Apostolic Ministry within the Word at that time, AD 31-70.

Resurrection Remembrances

The last week of Abib (March) A.D. 31, we call it the “Passion Week”, the disciples of Jesus of Nazareth has a very bad week, but after that week was over - the first day of the next week was the best of times, we call that “The Resurrection.”

The apostle Paul now turns to another problem the false teachers questioning his Apostleship. Much like the problems of today when men write religious creeds and impose them on their parishioners, thinking the apostles are gone. But the lord’s Apostles are still with us – on the pages of our Bible – God will not be mocked!
