Copilots Review

Cuphead was that pretty cool game from 2017. You know the one with the hand drawn animation and jazz-y soundtrack? The one with new DLC later this year? Well it also now has an official show on Netflix. Does The Cuphead Show manage to capture the aesthetic and charm of the game? Check out this episode for the answer!

In this interstitial we talk about the recent Nintendo Direct (February 2022) and discuss the current state of the DCEU. Additionally we keep with our norm of talking about things that have garnered our interest since our last release.

It may be February but Netflix isn't pulling punches, dropping what may be in this humble pilot's opinion one of the best horror/thriller shows since the original seasons of American Horror Story. So come along on this flight as we take a deep dive into the archives.

What do you do when you start to run out of shows to just straight up remake? The show we review this flight seems to posit that you just do the ever so classy yoink and twist of your own property in the ever so original reboot (or 'spiritual' successor) style. That's right we're reviewing How I Met Your Father, a show that's not quite a remake or a sequel of the fairly well received How I Met Your Mother series.

After getting around to watching both Spider-Man: No Way Home and The Eternals, it  seems we've both realized we have new number one MCU films. Given that, we thought why not re-evaluate our rankings from worst to best of all 27 of the MCU films.

To continue the holiday spirit we watched the first two episodes of the new HBOMax series from Seth Rogen entitled Santa Inc. Normally my next line would be about listening to find out if we think the show is worth watching, but honestly it's not, don't watch it. Instead just listen to our review about how bad it is.

On this special episode we are once again discussing Netflix's The Witcher. However, this time we are joined by friend of the show Caanths, who is of the arguably more correct opinion that Netflix's The Witcher is a good show. We sit down and discuss with him the issues we had with the episodes we watched as well as learn from him how the show deals with these in the rest of the first season. Can he convince us to give the show another shot just in time for the Witcher season 2 release?
