Prior to taking up her current role, Emily had been Ireland's first female Ombudsman and Information Commissioner. The mother of five is an author, as well as a former journalist, and political editor.

After a racing career that spanned three decades, he is now a multi-platform pundit as well as a presenter on RTÉ 2fm’s Game On. He lives in Kildare with his wife Gillian and their four daughters.
