There are 3 things I’m most passionate about: Food,Family, and telling stories.
Some people ask me why I love staying in the kitchen and talking recipes and what not. It’s cause I think there’s something spiritual with it. You can almost time travel in a way because you are taking ideas from the past and bringing them into our present.
This story is sort of the best explanation as to why the power of food is so important to me
Love yall.
Btw go to CoreyRyanForrester.com And get a Cameo from me and see what else I got going on!
Marco Pierre White is my favorite chef. I normally learn cooking techniques from him, but today I heard him speak on working for what’s really important and that isn’t always awards.
I hope you dig it!
Have a blessed day and take care of yourself!
Long time no talk? How yall doing?
Hey everybody! Today I wrote an essay on the quite breakups caused by the pandemic (I’ve been in a sad reflective mood lol)
While I got ya… do you live near Lexington, Ky or Charlottesville, VA? Well if you do, I’m coming to your cities August 14th and 15th! Get tickets at CoreyRyanForrester.com
See yall there!
Taking a different direction, instead of just focusing on Dr King's death, I decided to talk about his whole life. I hope you enjoy the new approach to This Week In Southern History as much as I enjoyed researching and recording it.
As always, I am open to the fact that I may have gotten something wrong, whether it be by slip of the tongue, or trusting an incorrect source. I apologize but welcome you to correct me by sending an email to [email protected]
Aside from subscribing to WeLoveCorey.com, as you all know in order to be able to put all the work out for free, we also accept additional donations PBS style that can be sent via PayPal to [email protected] or on Venmo to ButterCreamCorey. These are not required, but are greatly appreciated. Those who can afford to give more help me keep the membership cost cheap at 5 dollars a month, and while I have bills like everyone else, I much prefer that everyone can afford to see my work and be entertained (or pissed off, either is fine:)
Thank you all for your continued support. I love you
'Corey

Hey y'all! Back by popular demand (seriously.. I get so many messages and emails about this series and it really warms my heart) I am going to return to doing This Week In Southern History!
It will not be every week because (as you will see when the full episode is posted) I have changed the format into being more long form instead of just the 5 minute essays that they used to be.... I still however button end each episode with said essays, which is what you are seeing here in this preview!
This is the opening to the full 30 minute episode, but I wanted to get you excited for it and give you something that you can (hopefully!) enjoy today! The full episode will be up April 3rd at WeLoveCorey.com, and then up here a couple days later!
Have a great day y'all, and thank you for your continued support. I am working very hard to make sure that you are gettin your 5 bucks worth!

Hello friends and family! I'm very happy to bring you this Holiday Special!
A Chickaluki Christmas Carol is a Southern re-telling of the Charles Dickens classic!
I put this out last year, but many of you may have missed it, plus there's no time better for rerunning classics than Christmas!
Enjoy!
Mandy Sue (In LA!) asked me: In your neck of the woods, or overall, are you feeling hopeful about the election? Also, is it hard to have a baby in this political turmoil?
I felt like since this was a multi part question that was far from a yes or no, I should address it in its own video!
Here are my thoughts!
Also in case you missed it.... all the questions that Y'ALL (Herohero members and those from the Substack chat) asked have already been answered a few videos back at WeLoveCorey.com, so go check those out!
Remember that if you havent switched over to my herohero yet, you can use this invite (Click HERE!) and get your first 3 months free! After that its the same as being a paid member here, so you can knock your substack subscription down to the free version!
Love y'all!
Corey
