About this week’s rant….

Hey, y'all! This week, like an old man, i ranted bout the weather for a bit. Mainly on account of how the tomato yield has been week this summer, and thats usually the only thing that makes the heat worth it! That lead to talking about the upcoming season of fall and how excited I am to eat chili and wear sweatshirts and what not!

Then i spent a fair amount of time talking about True Crime because they're is a new podcast out (Noble) that takes place about 5 minutes from my house and it has got me (even more than usual) jacked up about small town mysteries and what not!

Then to bring it on home, I talked about racist antiques and whether or not we should want them gone, or want them on display so we never forget our dark past.... what do y'all think?

In today’s rant, I discuss many things including my gratitude for ALL OFF Y’ALL in regards to the launch of my new column in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I also talk about the influence of Lewis Grizzard and share some of my favorite of his book titles and covers. I also brought up a podcast called Noble, which explores a controversy involving a crematorium in Noble, Georgia. …. pretty sure i’ve talked to y’all about this before but it is RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM ME and we tried to do a damn tv show based on it!

Naturally i also reflect on the emotional toll of being a father lol

Not much more to say bout that. It’s weird, it’s gross, and frankly it’s dangerous. Not to mention flat out DUMB AS S**T cause I know these sumbitches went to school with gals just as jacked and “Tom boyish” that they never once thought s**t about!
