From Isaiah 9:8-12:6. In these chapters, judgment is pronounced for both Israel and Assyria, but then God's solution is given in ch.11 and a song of praise is given in ch.12. Let us not trust in the things of this world - whatever they may be - but only in God!

From Isaiah 6. In this chapter, Isaiah received a vision of the Lord. Isaiah's response was to proclaim his own sinfulness. God's response was to send forgiveness and to send Isaiah as a messenger. May we have a right view of the Lord and of our own sin, but also of how God can use us in this world.
