From Ephesians 6:18-24, as well as a recap of our "New Life" sermon series from Ephesians 4-6. In Eph. 6:18-24, we get a glimpse of what life and ministry looked like for the Apostle Paul - it sets a good example for us. Then, in the second part of this sermon, I give a recap of our Ephesians 4-6 sermon series.

From Ephesians 6:1-9. In our new life with Christ, we are to obey God. One of the ways we can obey him is to obey the authorities he has placed in our lives. In this sermon, we talk about obedience in the parent/child relationship as well as in work.

From Ephesians 5:11-20. In our new life with Christ, we are not to walk in the darkness, but in the light. On our own, we wouldn't do well at that. But God gives us the Holy Spirit so that we might be guided and empowered in this new life.

From Ephesians 5:1-10. One of the main goals of our lives should be to please the Lord. In what we do and in what we avoid doing, we should seek to honor the Lord.

(From Ethan Townsend, youth director at Cornerstone Church.) Scripture has a lot to say about faith. It also has a lot to say about works. Both are important, but it's also important to understand how they should interact with each other. In this sermon, Ethan walks through some passages that may appear contradictory at first. But when seen in light of God's overall plan of faith and works, it makes sense to see that our faith should be lived out in what we do.

From Ephesians 4:25-32 & 5:3. In this new life with Christ, there are old things we should put off and new things we should put on. This passage helps us understand how we can turn from some of those old things.

From Ephesians 4:17-24. God calls us to new life. But it can be so difficult as we are tempted to walk according to our old ways or the ways of this world. This passage reminds us of some wonderful truths in this new life to which we are called.

From Ephesians 4:7-16. There are lots of ideas about how churches could grow. But in this passage, we see God's plan for how he causes the body of Christ to grow.
