Hear how God has been faithfully at work through many generations at Cornerstone.

This weekend, we begin the public phase of our Capital Campaign, “Forward Together”! The goal of this campaign is to fund those things that we believe God is calling us to do, allowing us to live out our mission: “Established in Christ, CLC is building God’s kingdom by reaching beyond ourselves to bring people into a caring community.”

Jesus prays for His followers to be one in the name of the Father, saying that after His crucifixion and resurrection He will depart from this earth to reign eternally on high. We believe this at Cornerstone, and as a result we move Forward Together with the plans that God has laid out for us. Jesus is praying for us while we carry out His purposes!

The family of God is a place of beauty and peace because of the work of Jesus Christ. We are called as individuals and families to live out this beauty and peace in our relationships. This is fed by the word of God. May that word dwell among us richly!

By washing His disciples’ feet Jesus shows a willingness to give of Himself, setting aside His status to serve His followers. This was an act of love toward them but is also, He says, an example for us as we serve those around us.

Even in a world that values tolerance, people still show favoritism. Christ, in showing no favoritism, died for all people, including sinners like you and me. He is calling for us to show no favoritism and proclaim His gospel to all people.
