You can’t do anything to earn Jesus' love for you and you can’t do anything to lose His love for you.

God’s grace is reckless. He saw the sin of the world. He saw our running from Him. And rather than berating us He demonstrated His reckless grace: He proved it by sending His perfect, sinless Son into the world.

Without Jesus we’re headed in the wrong direction. We'll squander all that we’ve been given on foolish living. Jesus made it clear in the parable, just come to your senses, turn away from your sin and turn toward God!

You may feel like in this world you have no value, but to God you’re infinitely valuable. He made you. There are no others. And He loves you and is seeking you, for you, for who you are. And when you’re found, there is joy in heaven over you!

The shepherd left the ninety-nine in search of the one that was lost. There was no grumbling, just rejoicing when it was found. The joy of finding the lost overshadowed everything else.

Jesus Christ is alive and because of all that He has done for us, we too can experience life both now and for eternity! Our hope is in Him, the risen Christ.

Good Friday is “good” because when darkness filled the sky our sin was placed on Jesus. Good Friday is “good” because when the curtain was torn in two we were given direct access to God.

Jesus when He died on the cross became our perfect substitute. He died so that we wouldn't have to.

When we follow Jesus, we need to know, it will cost us something. Salvation is free, the gift of life will cost us nothing. But following Jesus will definitely cost us something.
