Jesus gives you peace with God, peace in our circumstances, and He gives us peace to regift.

If we love Jesus most, we will love others best.

Christmas is about God searching for the lost. It is about God sending His Son into the world, to find the lost and to give them life!

The most important lesson that any of us can learn in life is that we need God. We were created to live with Him. When we recognize that, that we’re like Gideon, the underdog, Jesus gives us all the strength we will need to not only survive in life, but thrive!

We come to Him, sometimes kicking and screaming out of fear, but in order to be healed, in order to be changed, He needs to clean out the junk. Living a life of fearless faith comes when we let God take care of whatever might be holding us back from fully trusting in Him.

God doesn’t call the fearless, He makes the fearful faithful. Gideon wasn’t courageous. He was cowering in a hole full of squashed grapes. God met Gideon there, in that moment and called him a mighty man of valor. God comes to you, where you are and enables you to live by faith.

We live in a world full of worry, but we need to remember God is faithful. He’s not going to abandon us, He promises that: I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Greed can devour us from within if we’re not following Jesus and living the generous life He’s calls us to live. If we have much, we may depend too much. That’s greed. If we don’t have, but crave more. That’s greed. We can affluent and greedy or destitute and greedy. Greed is an equal opportunity monster.

Bitterness is unforgiven, unresolved anger and resentment towards a person or God. Bitterness is a silent monster that can take us down. Jesus can defeat our bitterness, will we let Him?
