EP 055 - Wanda Scott, the founder and CEO of WE, LLC Consulting Solutions, has always had a passion for technology and followed her career path from graduating with a Computer Science degree, internships, and on to developing a professional career with Microsoft as a Network Engineer. However, after years of growth, Wanda found herself in a 24/7 work culture, hitting the glass ceiling, and realizing that she wasn’t fulfilling her goal of helping others in a meaningful way. Wanda talks about her wake up call in this episode, and how she desired to do so much more for herself and others. We talk about how she pivoted her career paths several times and found happiness and joy by practicing more self-care. Episode 054 -Casey Gromer, the founder of Wave Marketing, started her corporate career like many of us who were eager to climb the ladder and find success in the corporate environment. Casey enjoyed her 20 years leading teams for multi-million dollar programs for large, well-known corporations. She took her position remote and continued to thrive; however, the travel schedule took a toll and she decided to take her talents out on her own. Casey describes how she tried a few different ways to start her business, and ultimately landed on her perusing her passion for strategy and marketing for female founders. She built her business from the ground up since not finding anything on the market quite like what she envisioned for herself.
