On Friday the 23rd of September 2016, 23 year old airman Corrie McKeague went out with two of his friends to the town of Bury St Edmunds. He was stationed at RAF Honington airbase and was planning on going out for some drinks and having a good time. Corrie was told to leave Flex nightclub that night and became separated from his friends. He went to a local takeaway and had a nap for a few hours outside a local shop. He was last spotted on CCTV heading into an area called the Horseshoe where several bins were located. Corrie never left this area and wasn't spotted on CCTV again.
