It took a while but we got there. The Australian Federal Election has been run and won... well, mostly. Many more votes still need to be counted before the Australian Electoral Commission can rubber stamp the win by Anthony Albanese and the Australian Labor Party.

This special edition of the podcast began at 3pm on Saturday 21st May as I recorded incremental check-in's as new information came to hand.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison conceded defeat just before 11pm Australian Eastern Standard Time and by 11:30pm, Labor leader Anthony (Albo) Albanese was headed towards his address to the party faithful in Sydney to accept the decision of Australian's.

Fourth dose of COVID vaccine on the way for some Australian's. Two new vaccines to be developed in Australia and on the world scene, President Joe Biden warns Russia's Vladimir Putin not to use chemical or biological weapons.

A smartphone app has been developed and tested and now needs to be peer reviewed. Testing for COVID-19 might be as easy as coughing into your phone. Might not sound hygenic, but could be easier than PCR or RAT options... and certainly quicker.
