Quite a bit of breaking news has come out in the past 24 hours including the news that founder of the global Hillsong “church” has resigned from his post. Many non believers in this (as I see it) cult think this is has been coming for years. NATO is planning on sending more of its troops to defend Ukraine from the Russian invasion - additionally, hang around to the end of the episode for an impassioned plea for help and a thank you in English from the Ukrainian President Volodoymir Zelenskyy. Former US Secretary of State, Medeline Albright has died overnight from cancer and 25 year old Australian tennis star Ash Barty has shocked the tennis world by announcing her retirement.

Former New South Wales Deputy Premier is in court suing Google over YouTube videos by the popular Jordan Shanks “Friendly Jordies” channel. I'm not inclined to believe Barilaro's claim of contemplating self harm. Listen to the details and make up your own mind.

Australia has lofty and very much elevated plans to make its presence felt... in space. Excuse the pun, but I find this pie in the sky stuff. But hey, America are on board with us... helping them out. What a surpise.

Russia continues its unjustified assualt on Ukraine and its people. While former Russian Opposition Leader and thorn in Putin's side, Alexei Navalny is found guilty of fraud by a Russian Court.

Concerns for the weather at either poles. Is climate change a cause? Scientists say research needs to be conducted and that unfortunately will take time.

There is no stopping the spirit and resolve of Ukrainians. 7 year old Amelia Anisovych sung the Disney hit song, Let It Go in a Kyiv bunker and that social media post has gone viral. Recently, she sung the Ukraine National Anthem at a benefit concert in neighbouring Poland. Politics can be truly horrible and even more so in an election period. There are claims (yet to be proven) that a Labor politician from Victoria who died of a heart attack last week was bullied. The Prime Minister and mainstream media attack dogs are calling for the Labor Party to investigate (which they absolutely should), but you know the old saying, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Speaking of the PM, he's out electioneering, even though he hasn't called the election yet and he had a bit of a gaffe in Western Australia yesterday while trying to secure votes.

The Pfizer CEO has said that a fourth dose of the company's COVID-19 vaccine will be required. This has got a lot on social media in an uproar, and as expected, not all the comments make sense.

Australian Prime Minister Soctt Morrison as a means to divert the public from facts, has developed an unhealthy obsession with federal Labor Leader, and likely next Prime Minister, Anthony “Albo” Albanese's waistline. We always knew politics was a dirty game, but it's also creepy.

I see Australia as a country that's in trouble. Politics here has become much more than just a dirty game. It's harmful, divisive and in some cases down-right criminal.

Fighting in Ukraine continues as Russia pushes ahead with its invasion. An American photo-journalist has been killed while reporting on the situation.

Ukrainian President Vlodymir Zelenskyy has been given a standing ovation from the British Parliament following an address to plead for more sanctions against Russia.

Finally, an update on my plantar fasciitis situation. It's getting better... slowly.
