    On this edition of MY NEXT PROJECT...
    This episode was supposed to be my “I've just had my booster shot!” ep, but a COVID scare has delayed that. Listen in for an outline of the last few days for me.
    ABC News Australia published a story about the possiblity of contracting COVID-19 Omicron Variant a second time, but also if you do test positive, it may not be prudent to get your booster shot so quickly after recovering due to the body's natural immunity for a period of time after recovering.
    Here's a link to that story, but remember everyone is different, assumptions are no replacement for medical assessment from a professional.

    On this edition of “MY NEXT PROJECT”...
    Tennis star Novak Djokovic is in the news right now, not because of his sports prowess, but because the Australian changed its mind on allowing the 34 year Serbian into the country to play at this months Australian Open in Melbourne - despite the fact he's already here.
    Social media platforms Twitter and Instagram are looking at those key words in what we type to help stop us from posting something they think we shouldn't. It's never going to be 100% effective, but could there be other ways to deal with this ever increasing problem? Personally, I'm not sure these platforms are targeting the right people.
    Booked in for my COVID-19 booster shot in just over a weeks time. Looking forward to getting the next step done!

    Doctor Who blew up the internet for a little while, which made a great change from it being Kim Kardashian! The brand new series starring Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor returns at the end of October. I can’t wait!
    While out walking I often see cats, but George The Ginger Cat is one of my favourites. My latest interaction with him melted my heart.
    Microsoft released Windows 11 this past week. I jumped on that train early and I am more than happy with the results of this.
    Apple’s iOS15 recently came out too, so I’ve been using a lot of data on downloading operating systems :-)

    Something totally unexpected happened to me today. Someone I don’t even know, came up to me in the street and gave me a really, really nice compliment. Not enough of that in the world. We all need some niceties right now I think.
    But when I got home from my walks, I discovered that Victoria had recorded the highest ever one day COVID-19 positive numbers, which was a downer to say the least.

    It’s a check-in from me… shaken edition. All shook up for more than one reason.
    There was a 6.0 earthquake east of Melbourne today (Wednesday 22nd September). I didn’t feel it, but many did across Victoria, as well as three other states and the nation’s capital.
    The primary thing I’m shaken by is the level of rioting that’s been going on lately in Melbourne at protests over the lockdown, mask wearing, social distancing and the construction industry… ooh and who can forget… the vaccine.
