In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Dr. Rajasekhar Gollu in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is a Cosmetologist & Cosmetic Surgeon. He has done MBBS, MS (Gen Surgery), and MRCS (Edinburgh). He is also the Founder of Sriroop Cosmetic Surgery and Cosmetology Center.
In this episode, we talked about the difference between a dermatologist and a cosmetologist, and what is the long way and short way of achieving our beauty goals. Who should go for beauty surgeries and what is the right age to do them. We then talked about how safe are fillers and cosmetic surgeries, how to choose the right cosmetologist for such surgeries, and why Brazil is known as the cosmetic capital of the world. We also discussed which are the common cosmetic surgeries done by men and women in India in different age groups, what are male boobs and their surgery procedures, and which are the best sunscreen brands in India.
Towards the end, we talked about the difference between cosmetic and plastic surgery, what are the dangers of doing fillers and surgeries, and which surgeries are covered by insurance. We ended our conversation by discussing the surgeries and filler treatments that Kylie Jenner and Cristiano Ronaldo have gone through.
