Welcome Back! Jess has been off for the last month recovering from sickness and con crunch! In this episode she talks about how people weaponize scripture, using condemnation to manipulate people to fit their agenda. She talks about the proper way Jesus shows us to talk with fellow believers when in sin, and to always use the model of patience, gentleness and love when correcting someone. She also talks about when we are falsely accused of things that are not true.

Condemnation leads to fear, shame and death
Conviction leads to repentance and life 

Matthew 18:15-17
15 “If your brother or sister[b] sins,[c] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d] 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. 3 The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. 4 This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.

New Living Translation

Jess catches up on the last month of holiday craziness and talks about the season we are in with Christmas just a few weeks away. There is a time for everything under the sun as the scripture in Ecclesiastes says, so let's try to make this time the season for joy, dancing and laughing!
