There are growing debates over whether President Donald Trump could suspend habeas corpus as a way to bypass judges blocking deportations. Doing so would be regarded as a more extreme method of carrying out his agenda, and in a recent interview, Trump suggested that while he may have this type of capability, he’d rather not use it.
