  • Is Gendered Colorism Natural? An Open Minded Analysis
**This program is rated "R" because it may not be suitable for black people of any age who are still in a typically vulnerable stage of self-acceptance/rejection in regards to their hue. It may be psychologically harmful for such people as it reviews scientific literature on the subject in the tiltle of this episode***
This episode will pick up the converstaion where it was left at the end of the 6-29-14  episode entitled "Black Men, Black Women, Bed-wenches & Nig@erstock."
In order to address this problematic behavior for the black collective today,  we will discuss the seemingly hundreds (maybe even thousands) of years black men have been drawn to and, perhaps, even preferred white and other non-black women.  Is this a preference hard-wired into biology?   If it is, what's next?  If it isn't, what's next?
Lets' get to the root of this thing  >>> Pun intended.

  • How to Make Generations
LBM and Cree co-host a discussion about how black people can prepare to have offspring and, then, prepare those offspring to be viable.
    Specifically, we discuss:
How many of us actually planned for their offspring - what has been the consequence of planning or not? How important is marriage prior to having offspring - whether you did it that way or not.  How important is it to be able to help your offspring beyond 18-21 years - what should that help be? What accounts for the greater perception that black women are "sell-outs" when they date white folks compared to when black men engage in this tragic (mis)behavior?
The title of this episode is taken from a phrase in Kola Boof's letter two her two young sons which forms the essay, The Authentic Black Man.

  • The Nuclear Option for Black Women- Part 3
We'll resume our discussion of the gender roles and behavior needed to have a an effective battle formation against our dominators.  The bulk of the discussion is about sexual and emotional motivation.

*The images accompanying this episode are from the 2012 Cannes Film Festival winner, Beasts of the Southern Wild.  They are intended to speak to the vulnerability of black females, the toughness that is encouraged in us by others  due to the system of white supremacy,  and the lethal, malicious white female.

  • CREE w/ Carlos Munoz, Jr., PhD
This is the requested  follow-up to the October 6 episode featuring  a pre-recorded talk by author Nicolas Vaca. That episode was entitled, "What's That? A Non-white Alliance with Latinos? ".
Dr. Muñoz is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Ethnic Studies, University of California, Berkeley.  He was the founding chair of the first Chicano Studies department in the nation in 1968 at the California State University at Los Angeles and the founding chair of the National Association of Chicana & Chicano Studies (NACCS). He is the author of numerous pioneering works on the Mexican American political experience and on African American and Latino political coalitions. His book, Youth, Identity, Power: The Chicano Movement won the Gustavus Myers Book Award for "outstanding scholarship in the study of human rights in the Untied States." The first edition of the book underwent 12 printings and was a major resource for the PBS television series Chicano! History of the Mexican American Civil Rights Movement. Dr. Muñoz was the senior consultant for the project and was also featured in the series.
We'll ask Dr. Munoz whether Cree's conclusion is incorrect that many Latinos/Hispanics now function as white.

  • The Nuclear Option for Black Women: Withdrawing Support
WHY is is soooooo difficult for many Black males to simply make a statement acknowledging centuries of abuse against black women and WHY it is soooo difficult to draw a line in terms of what is proportional response and why they EXPECT support of Black women no matter what.   Do they really not understand that there can be no "moving FORWARD" if half of your group doesn't feel safe?  That's what co-host, LBM, and I want to understand.
What we want black men to understand is the ultimate consequence (not threats) & solutions to this quandary.
I.e., What does the  withdrawal of  black women's  support  of black men's battle for black manhood look like?  And, what will be required to get that support back?
