This week we looked at a passage where Jesus says there's more going on in the feeding of the 5000, and the 4000, than we first realised. As we looked more closely at these passages we saw how, in all things, Jesus is showing us that only He is the way the truth and the life.

This week Matt took us through the miraculous stories in Matthew 8-9, and unpacked the thing that links them all together - Faith. But then asked "what is faith?" and "faith in what?"

As a church we want to be people that are seeking to become like Jesus. This week Anna shares with us from the story of the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness and opens up for us more about who Jesus is and what we can learn from Him, for our own lives, as He stands up to the devil and stands on the word of God.

This week looking at Moses and the Israelites in Exodus 24, Matt shared with us some practises that help us to follow God and encounter Him more and more in our lives.

This week Dennis took us on a journey through the Old Testament story starting from Exodus 23 where the people are called to follow the presence of the Lord and obey Him. From this point on we see how things unfold in times where they are faithful to that call, and where they aren't, and the implications and effects of their actions.

This week Matt unpacked the back story to the Exodus, showing how God is at work in His creation to bring about blessing and life but at the same time satan is also at work scheming to undo that blessing and in the midst of that, each and every day, we have a choice to make - to choose God and His way and His blessing, or to choose something else that opens us up to the lies and deceit of the enemy.

This week Matt spoke from John 2, that well known story of Jesus turning water into wine. But he showed us that there is way more going on here than turning water into wine, it's not just a miracle but a sign through which the gospel is revealing so much more to us about Jesus.
