Elissa is a style alchemist, mixing fashion, self-expression, and a radical call to be your most evolved self to create a wardrobe that feels good and magnetizes abundance to you. Elissa not only styles celebrities, but she also has built a multiple six-figure styling brand and a certification program in a school. She got into styling after realizing that helping women feel good on the outside would also transform their lives on the inside. She grew up with very religious parents and was taught that love for fashion or beauty was not as good as doing something spiritual. She eventually left the church and started experimenting with her own style. She now mentors other women in helping them create their dream styling businesses while being the BOSS of her very own empire!⠀

She comes from an Iraqi Muslim family and has always wanted to serve and contribute to the world. After going through a divorce, Rula realized she wanted to become a life coach. However, she was afraid of what people in the medical world and the coaching world would think of her. Despite her fears, Rula decided to become a life coach and has since helped many people heal their relationship with their past, their childhood, their parents, and themselves. Rula loves helping people with anxiety, trauma, triggers, communication, vulnerability, body image, food issues, and more! She is a firm believer that there is nothing that you can't heal from.

This week on Courage to Create, I interviewed the fabulous Gia Gunn! I met Gia a few months ago, and shortly after, she came to my Woman Unleashed Retreat - and we totally hit it off! In the interview, we shared some laughs and lots of tears as she shared her incredible life story. Gia is a proud Japanese American Trans Woman. Her life wasn’t always so straightforward as she navigated first from being a gay male to crossing dressing to doing drag, eventually transitioning to a woman. I learned so much from Gia in this interview - and what she really drove home was this message that staying true to who you are may not always win the majority of the crowd, but standing out strong and bright is what wins at the end of the day!
