In this inspiring episode, we hear from Varsha, a dynamic entrepreneur juggling a successful IT career by day with a thriving DJ events business by night, all while empowering women to be financially stable and free through real estate.
Varsha reflects on the courage she needed to navigate her challenging divorce two years ago, choosing to walk away rather than give up her passions.
She also shares how a personal health challenge from birth shaped her resilience and determination to succeed and how vulnerability transformed her struggles into strengths.
Varsha discusses her love for music and dancing, detailing her journey into DJing and the successful launch of her first events company.
And more recently, recognising single mothers' unique challenges, she founded Real Estate for Women, a platform dedicated to supporting and empowering women to achieve financial independence through property investing.
Varsha describes herself as a high-risk taker who puts her heart and soul into all she does.
Her proactive approach to challenges has allowed her to pursue her passions without fear or overthinking, two things that often hold us back.

In this episode, Esther Althaus, Managing Director of Perspective Financial Services, delves into how the labels and stereotypes we encounter during school can profoundly shape our view of the world.
Reflecting on her journey as a tomboy determined to outsmart the boys, she shares how these early challenges equipped her with resilience and determination that has served her well in life.
Esther emphasizes that the only true competitor is oneself and discusses the impact of societal expectations on body image, revealing how she overcame these pressures.
She shares how she learned about the hidden insecurities many of us face and how discovering love later in life taught her the importance of being honest with yourself and maintaining independence.
This episode is a beautiful reminder to trust yourself, and that perspective is a choice.
On that note, I loved when Esther said to someone who commented on how good she looked, “Excuse me, I have always been hot, you just chose not to notice before.”
Now that’s what I call perspective!

Jenny Doan, a motivational speaker and world champion hula hooper, shares what it took to find her spark and truly feel alive.
Jenny shares how her courageous journey kicked off with a leap of faith, leaving her secure analyst job in Perth to volunteer in Tonga for 12 months.

Jenny emphasizes the importance of pushing yourself beyond what you think is possible and not letting your logical mind dictate your decisions.
She discusses the challenges she overcame while training for the World Records, including how she became more efficient at mastering her hoola techniques and dealing with extreme fatigue, sleeping for only four of the one hundred hours.
She shares her motivation for pursuing world records and the many life lessons she learned.
Jenny also discusses her transition into motivational speaking and the value of sharing her experiences and lessons with others.

Sheridan Rose Shaw calls herself an 'accidental entrepreneur,' transforming her life from a path of destruction into building a multi-award-winning hair salon and collaborative space, MAMA WEST.
Growing up as an 'adult child' and working from age 14, Sheridan battled a deep sense of self-loathing and turned to addiction to escape dealing with life.
After hitting rock bottom and waking up in a hospital bed at 20, she made the courageous decision to change her life, knowing she was destined for more.
Embarking on an ongoing and deep inner journey, Sheridan channelled her hard-core addict mentality and limitless energy into positive pursuits, leading her to business success beyond her wildest dreams.
Sheridan had to walk through what she calls the '50 shades of Sheridan' to move from a place of being unheard and unseen to one filled with gratitude, belonging, and genuine self-love.
To Sheridan, her business MAMA WEST is more than a hair salon. It's a heartfelt expression of herself, a space for genuine human connection, and a collaboration that empowers others to be themselves.
This mind-blowing conversation is packed full of inspiration as Sheridan shares her journey from self-loathing to self-love, rebuilding her life and achieving unimagined success.

This episode, featuring the incredible Lana Formoso, was recorded in front of a live audience at the Courageous Me Live Show—an feat which demanded a great deal of courage in itself.
Lana is a fighter who has learned many tough life lessons. As a middle-distance runner training for the Olympics, an injury derailed her dreams, leading her to travel the world searching for a new purpose.
During nine years of traveling and having visited 58 countries, Lana encountered how much sadness, joy, and injustice there is in the world.
This awakening guided her to become a high school teacher and later pursue a political career, becoming Mayor of Greater Dandenong in 2020.
After completing a ten-day silent retreat, during which she meditated for 18 hours daily, Lana discovered a profound inner strength that prepared her for the curveball’s life had yet to throw her way.
Lana's is a remarkable story of a woman who fights passionately for those in need, striving to combat injustices and make the world a better place.
Her heartwarming story will inspire you to appreciate your own life and remind you that we can choose to feel sorry for ourselves or fight for what really matters.
