  • Unworthiness
**This sermon touches on the sensitive topic of suicide.** We all bear spiritual wounds that need exposing for healing, akin to removing a bullet causing pain. As we walk towards transformation, we encounter moments of exposure. But choosing the right person when our wounds are exposed is crucial. Judas sought the wrong source for mercy. But what if he had gone to Jesus instead? If he had turned to Jesus, he'd find the same mercy Jesus offers all sinners. Both Judas and Peter assumed the role of judge. And their judgments caused them to react violently—Peter outwardly and Judas inwardly. These two extremes result from the same issue, our human tendency to take on judgment when wounded. However, only Jesus, the Sacrifice, is the judge. He has already ruled, and his verdict is that he is worthy of death so that you may be worthy of life. We must take our spirit wounds to Jesus to receive mercy. It's in his hands that we will be healed.

  • Uselessness
Even when we feel desperate, worthless, and directionless, God sees us. Like Gideon, we might not fully grasp the message that "God is with you." In God's realm, social status and our talents or lack thereof hold no significance. Why? Because our purpose isn't centered around ourselves; it's about what God desires to accomplish in and through us. At times, we become so consumed with our own limitations that we doubt God's ability to use us. However, rest assured, God has a distinct purpose for each of us, and he walks with us as we pursue it.

  • Exposed
Looking into someone's eyes can stir up a lot within us. Similarly, when God calls us into a relationship and we truly gaze upon Him, something profound happens within. Brace yourself, though. Locking eyes with the Lord can be uncomfortable. Your flaws, unresolved wounds, and hidden struggles may come to the surface. Yet, this discomfort is part of the journey towards transformation. Trust in God; He's the one handling the transformation process. Your role? Gaze at the Lord maintaining eye contact for as long as you can. Look at God, looking at you in love.

  • Torn in Two
When Christ gave up his spirit, the temple veil tore, signaling a profound shift. As the Great High Priest, Christ intercedes for all. Sanctification is no longer by animal blood but by Jesus' unblemished self-sacrifice, fulfilling the world's need for atonement. His death ransoms us from sin, rendering the veil—the mediating force between God's power and our vulnerability— unnecessary. Now, all are welcome into the Holy of Holies. The mighty and powerful God invites you into a deep and personal relationship with Him. Are you ready to experience that freedom today?
