As we continue our journey through Acts, chapter 12 starts abruptly with the death of James. Herod intends to make the same example of Peter in days to come, but the Lord delivers him from earthly harm. James may have lost his life, but he was found immediately in the presence of Christ Jesus, his Lord. We may not always know why the Lord does things the way he does, but we know it is always for our good. We hope this sermon blesses you in the Lord.
