Yesterday, in Acts 20, we saw the heart of Paul as he preached to the Church in Ephesus. Not only did he preach all night, but well into the morning. Why? The church is committed to fellowship and Christian living with one another.

Sunday morning, Hank closed out the 19th chapter of Acts. As Paul preaches in Ephesus, a riot starts surrounding the worship of the false god Artemis. The Ephesian people aren't concerned with idolatry- one man is concerned with money, and most don't know why they are there. The Gospel brings clarity to our purpose in life.

Hank continued our study of Acts in chapters 18 and 19. We see Paul continuing to spread the gospel, a young teacher corrected, and a desire to repent and believe. What do we take from all of this? We must continue and grow in the gospel. We must seek the truth in love, and press on to grow in Christ Jesus.

"Why do we go to so many other places to get water that doesn't satisfy us? When we believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes within us, and dead bones come to life! We are raised from the dead and living water flows. We will never need water again."

Yesterday, we continued our sermon series in Acts with Chapter 18. As Paul seeks to spread the gospel to the Corinthian people, he is reviled by the Jewish people and turns his attention to the Gentiles. Why does Paul stay in Corinth? The Lord tells him he has many in that city that are His. Regardless of the criticism and hate of the world, the Lord will save His people. We hope this message blesses you in the Lord.

In Acts 17, Paul continues his missionary journey and is in the city of Athens. As he confronts the idolatry of the city, he tells them of the one true God. The message isn't one of works-based salvation, instead, it's simple: repent and turn to the one true God. We hope this message blesses you in the Lord.

As our Journey through Acts continues, we see Paul and Silas preaching the Word to the Bereans. After hearing his preaching, the Bereans receive the truth and examine the Scripture. Doing so, they come to faith. When the Word is rightly preached, doctrine and devotion are byproducts. We must look to the Scripture for our foundation and allow it to inform us what is true. We hope this sermon blesses you in the Lord.
