Men speak of -common courtesy- but the courtesy that Peter calls for is something far more than the common niceties that are found in society. It is Christian courtesy that is shown to saved and lost alike. -Mind your manners- is an old cliche that needs to be revisited by God's people.

-Be pitiful-, Peter says. What should that look like in the Christian's life-

-For he that will love life, and see good days, let him...- 1 Pet. 3-10--If God's people want to live -the good life- as defined by God, then here's the course God has charted for it.
