Lilith was originally inspired by a section of a book I had begun about numbers over a decade ago. She was born out of a chapter in that book which was about the number eight. With encouragement from my publisher Nick, who is also my writing coach, I had gotten the brainy idea to create a modern story based on an ancient myth that came from the Sumerian culture.
