Episode Roundup: The Cowpunchers indulge in some TV!  We watched two western themed episodes of non-western themed television shows. In Charmed, We wanted MORE MAGIC, however they may have used all of it to keep Prue's half-shirt functional. We discuss the poor safety features of the Holodeck and a possible connection to the company that brought us WestWorld. Both episodes reveled in the western tropes we all know and love. Amy wants to inflict MORE CHARMED on Stu. A champagne sedan hits Stu right in the nostalgia zone.

Hell or High Water directed by David Mackenzie and starring Chris Pine, Ben Foster, and Jeff Bridges.

Episode Roundup:  The Cowpunchers wax philosophical after watching a movie about robbing banks in 2009.  Stu expresses his dissatisfaction with people who own giant pickup trucks and don't use them.  Amy wants a cold beer and to watch the Texas landscape.

Episode Roundup: The cowpunchers invent some brand new sentences including: "Go to foot-cigarette jail!", "Where can guns live?" and "How else do you salt your eggs if not from the salt from your salt holster?" Pat offers you an egg in this trying time. Stu shows us how cowboys do business. Amy wants to know why three loaves of bread were revealed with such flourish.

Adiós, Sabata directed by Gianfranco Parolini, and starring Yul Brynner, Dean Reed, and Ignazio Spalla.

Episode Roundup:  SABATATHON '22 gets started with a discussion as disjointed and chaotic as the movie itself.  Amy comes up with exciting new ideas for Cowpunchers merch.  Pat wonders what that accordion is going to do.  Stu discovers the existence of Sabata slash fiction, and then dies.

Shanghai Noon directed by Tom Dey and starring Jackie Chan, Owen Wilson and Lucy Liu.

Episode Roundup: The Cowpunchers court a sponsorship with Dr. Pepper. Stu is excited by the return of the Hollywood Meat Slap(TM).  Pat wonders if this is a Western or a martial arts movie, either way it's a sports movie. Amy's inner monologue is somehow captured for this film. 

The Escape of Prisoner 614 directed by Zach Golden and starring Ron Perlman, Martin Starr, Jake McDorman, and George Sample III.

Episode Roundup:  The Cowpunchers admire the simple joys of the coffee mugs found in diners.  Stu thinks that this movie was just stupid enough; any more dumb and it would have just been unbearably dumb.  So stupid.  Amy is haunted by Ron Perlman's enormous cranium.

Christmas Mountain directed by Pierre de Moro and starring Mark Miller, Slim Pickens, and Jack Glenn Evans.

Episode Roundup:  NO GODS.  NO KINGS.  ONLY SLIM PICKENS.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  The Cowpunchers are once again confronted by a town full of assholes, this time though, the town must be taught the true meaning of Christmas.  Pat introduces us to the concept of the "Granny Witch."  Amy devotes herself to God's anointed on Earth, Slim Pickens.  Stu is concerned by the existence of a cattle-sheep rivalry.

The Long Riders directed by Walter Hill and starring David Carradine, Stacy Keach, and Randy Quaid.

Episode Roundup:  Oh brother!  What a movie!  All the Carradines you want, none that you don't.  Amy is captivated by one hell of a mustache.  Stu lists all possible emotions, none of which are portrayed by Jesse James.

The Deadly Companions directed by Sam Peckinpah and starring Maureen O'Hara, Brian Kieth, Steve Cochran and Chill Wills. 

Episode Roundup: What's under that hat? What's under that haaaat? Stu posits that it's a map to buried treasure. Amy wonders if Chill Wills is a bear.
