This week Meg is joined by Bex @PlannerUK for a chat about the power of pen and paper, from documenting our lives through journaling to connecting with the creative community. Bex shares her love of journaling and planning, the behind the scenes of running a stationery event... and her very chunky Midori Hobino journal!

Bex is a lifelong stationery addict who believes in the power of paper for productivity, creativity, and growth. A university lecturer by day and a dedicated planner and journal enthusiast by night, she has a passion for analogue pursuits.

With over two decades of professional experience in event management bringing corporate client briefs to life, Bex transitioned her career to follow her own vision, founding PlannerFest in 2019. In 2023, she launched JournalFest - the largest gathering of journal enthusiasts in Europe - and StationeryFest, the premier B2C event for stationery lovers in the UK.

Bex is also currently pursuing PhD research focusing on the impact of journaling on self-directed growth for female small business owners.

As lifelong journalers and creatives, we're so excited to see people embracing a more 'analogue life'! We talk about the discourse on social media, the different analogue hobbies that we enjoy, and what we keep in our versions of an analogue bag!
