Cyberpunk RED: Easy Mode: Part 2 of 3: The Shin Doctors
It’s the main entrée of our 3 course Cyberpunk RED adventure! Our choombunch has to work their way out of this dumpster fire fight and figure out what’s going on with Lazlo, their fixer. Lick learns that Patch’s name isn’t Patches. Patch patches up a guy or two. Jaywalk doesn’t wait for the lights to change before crossing the street to sign an autograph and get some information. Rivet kicks the can instead of doing a hard-reset on a Militech guard.

Welcome to Night City, choom. It’s the time of The Red and there’s never been a better time for a little huscle. Our crew is fresh off of a job robbing and blowing up a Militech Shipping dock and the location to pick up payment has suspiciously changed. Follow along with our adventure party as they collect payment, count French fries, kick ass, take names, and run out of names.
Starring:
- Chris Arre - Haze “Rivet” Vega - A moderately heavily chromed Tech and tinkerer, trying to be more confident and make the change he wants to see in the world. Or at least the frog-themed cyberware. He’s got lots to prove and a lot to prove it with!
- Daniel Lok - Joey “Lick” Li - A Solo out of Little China, indebted to loan sharks on behalf of his father and on the bad side of Militech on behalf of himself. Now he’s making every last bullet (and french fry) count.
- Kyle Kane - Dr. Urie “Patch” Orlov - former corpo MedTech, now he helps the people they leave bleeding from his back-alley clinic in the Combat Zone. He’s lost his taste for killing and finds that none of the people around him have lost theirs. Baby steps. Change one thing at a time.
- Shea Ingram - Hudson “Jaywalk” Pendergrass - Spoiled corpo-kid turned Rockerboy, he’s just trying to stick it to the man, trust no one, and have no one trust him, man. Unless you have to work together for a job. and then only some trust. But not like real trust.
- Josh Greenway - Game Manager!

It’s the conclusion to Curtain Call as our band of snobs continues to track down who killed Matches. The whole party contends with a fishy situation as Ned tries on a few different accents, Wylde weasels some information out of Graham’s room, and Crane contends with seeds of doubt and seeds of sustenance. Will they find the murderer before they escape? Only (about 40 minutes of) time will tell!

Welcome back to The Collide! It’s a night of theater, art, and murder. Our intrepid heroes meet to see an evening of improvised nonsensery by a band of performers let by a pair of brothers, only to have the festivities interrupted by a brutal stabbing. Join Crane Featherington, Ned Barrymore, and Wyld, as they try to identify the murderer that interrupted their entertainment. Crane attempts to relate to “the poors,” Wyld sees opportunities everywhere, and Ned uses Barrymore water to fish for information.

Welcome back for Daggerheart 2, part 2 of 2, where our crew races to figure out what’s going on on the Royal Airship Windfall. Aara gets to know herself a little better, Clawnu stresses the importance of not shooting kids, and Sam takes Bellows for spin. Will the crew make it out of the skies alive?? Will we have hot takes about the Daggerheart game system at the end?? Probably, but who knows?!

It’s time for the literally shocking conclusion of our adventure with team Golden Gryphons, as they make their way through the final challenge: some good old fashioned arm wrestling and luck wrangling. When all is not as it seems, the Gryphons opt for shenanigans. Rorsche gives the performance of his friends lives, while Theodore, Styrofoam, and Eden check out the employees only sections.
Will the crew emerge rich and famous? Or does Kroak have something else in mind?
Only time (spent listening to this podcast) will tell.
