Hey chocolate friends! In today's podcast episode, I had to chance to meet and interview a new chocolatier to the chocolate scene, Lauren Klein. She is a pastry chef based out of central Jersey, who started her own chocolate business Handcrafted Chocolate during the pandemic and has been doing both for a little over a year now.
If you've ever wondered if it's possible to get started during such uncertain times and find ways to make it work, this interview is both honest and insightful into what being a new chocolatier is like.
We also had so much fun chatting. Many similarities with Lauren. Dive on in to listen!
Hey chocolate friend, the new year is off to a great start. And it occurred to me that while there's a bunch of new chocolate faces out there in the chocolate world, there's also a lot who are not committing. They're what I refer to as the "wanna-be" chocolatiers-those who consume content and have wishful thinking but aren't actually doing anything to move the needle forward. In this podcast episode, I hope it lights a fire within you to finally realize that the time to start is now. The time to step into this version of yourself that you can't even imagine how awesome and exciting and just dang bad-ass is, until you try and put in the time.
