In this episode, Anna Halpine, the CEO of the FEMM Foundation—a research and evidence-based program dedicated to improving women's health—discusses the importance of boldly speaking up, especially if you're in the unrepresented silent majority. Anna shares her story of creating disruption at age 21 at the United Nations Conference on Population and Development in 1999. She recalls watching a group of 32 young people claim to represent the world's three billion youth and demand the implementation of certain policies: abortion as a human right, sexual rights for children, and the removal of parental rights. Anna found herself questioning, "Do these people represent me?" Listen in as Anna urges us to speak up for truth and advocate for our rights, enabling us to transform our communities for the better.
