Hello listener, let's get one thing straight, right now; I'm NOT a baby boomer. Laughing, I was born in 1961, the first year of the Thirteeners, a period that ran from 1961 to 1981 and characterized as the "Sesame Street" and "latch key" generation. I like that because it's true; we watched Sesame Street and the ABC After School Specials and waited for our parents to come home from work. Yep.

So, the Baby Boomers are 61 years of age and older and are retiring like mad because of Covid-19; over 7 million of 'em took their 401Ks and went home since 2020, creating a new cottage industry; Baby Boomer home and personal services.  Let's talk about it, shall we? 

 "Baby Boomer home and personal services"; just who doesn't like that byline? It's great. Laughing.

Good morning listeners, Tom Brady, a 44-year-old NFL quarterback that retired from the league about a month ago, just announced that he's "unretiring" and playing at least one more season. Laughing, I get that completely and plan to never officially "retire", I'll just modify my schedule to compensate for my capabilities, physical or otherwise. Never retiring. Ever. Why? I cannot turn off my brain and anything less-than "really busy" is not enough, for me.

Hello listeners, I am in the trucking industry from the equipment supplier-side of things, having built, owned and sold an independent commercial tank truck and trailers dealership in Houston, Texas and then started a tank truck equipment company after that that I still operate today. I can proudly claim to (now) have over 29,000 customers and with just three chargebacks (all fraud and two caught and punished) and one major customer complaint (unfounded and addressed). It has been a journey and I'm not the same man I was when I started it all. Laughing.

All of that said, I KNOW what it takes for my customers to make a success of their efforts because I have so, so many statistical samples from which to make my claims AND I've been in statistics since I was 18 years old folks; I see trends, patterns, and the like in a way 99% of folks just do not.

Hello listeners, I am literally not affiliated with either major political party and do not even identify with calling myself an "independent" because that's a thing too... I'm in Texas and it's an open primary state with no party registration requirements; it's open season to vote one way or the other, but you have to keep voting in that primary all the way to the end, run-offs and all. Then, you can change up and go vote the other way for the main race. It's crazy but Republicans have been doing that for 40 years and on the advice of the Rush Limbaugh generational types are now dying off faster than fruit flies. Laughing.

That said, I'm voting as a RINO today in the local primaries, mainly to vote against the Texas-wide politicians that have really, really mucked things up in the state: heard about our "power grid" issues? That's just embarrassing. Laughing.
