  • Episode #50: Take Texas Back and Vote RINO... Or keep suffering Texans.

    Hello listeners, I am literally not affiliated with either major political party and do not even identify with calling myself an "independent" because that's a thing too... I'm in Texas and it's an open primary state with no party registration requirements; it's open season to vote one way or the other, but you have to keep voting in that primary all the way to the end, run-offs and all. Then, you can change up and go vote the other way for the main race. It's crazy but Republicans have been doing that for 40 years and on the advice of the Rush Limbaugh generational types are now dying off faster than fruit flies. Laughing.

    That said, I'm voting as a RINO today in the local primaries, mainly to vote against the Texas-wide politicians that have really, really mucked things up in the state: heard about our "power grid" issues? That's just embarrassing. Laughing.

  • Episode #49: Your life's movie runs in your dying last moments... Make it good!
    Hello listeners, for some reason, I've always believed that you should create great memories in your life so you'll have that to reflect on when old and in the rocking chair; I also tell people that "your last thoughts will "flash across your screen" with a quick "best moments" movie of your life and your belief system. I say make it a great movie and live well. 
    Well, this morning, I just read a scientific article about the first brain waves recording of the moment someone died and my longtime thoughts have been confirmed; doctors were performing an EEG test on an 87-year old man with epilepsy and he died of a sudden heart attack in the midst of the  test. The deceased last 30 seconds was recorded and showed brain activity that the doctors have described as gamma oscillations and are linked to things like memory retrieval, meditation, and dreaming. The man's last movie was running in his brain; fantastic and good for him! R.I.P.

    Hello listeners, my last name is J-u-b-e-r-t and I hate it, always have; my child brain was the same size as my adult one, and the same thoughts ran through it THEN that run through it NOW: is it ME or is it wholly ridiculous to STILL have the surname of the former enslavers for your family? Sheesh, I have always thought that maintaining the practice, over time, was one of the most ridiculous things, ever...
    It is the one regret that I have in my life, that, when at the beginning of my adulthood, I didn't go through with changing my surname to that which I could be proud of...  Let's talk about it... Ugh.

  • Episode #47: 2022 will be a year to "exhale and recover" and "get ahead." Prosperity is on the way.

    Hello listeners, laughing, I'm pretty darn good at forecasting and those skills have "paid some bills..." That said, I am of the belief that 2022 will end up being a year for "recovery" for most people and certainly so for businesspeople; the suffering has been immense and fatal for many.

    I have made a business decision to slow relax my hometown development schedule for 2022 because I believe "the ants need to eat the elephant more slowly this year and allow it all to digest." Prosperity is on the way but 2022 is the "get-ready" year for it all...

    All of that said, I'm of the belief that, when it's over, I will be correct in my thinking; the world will spend 2022 in recovery mode and, except in the case of what's going on with Russia and Ukraine, we'll have a quiet one. Let's discuss that prediction.

  • Episode #45: Polyandry, the accepted social practice of females choosing multiple "partners." Fun?
    Hello listeners, being the amateur anthropologist that I've discovered myself to be, I'd like to share a topic with you that I am personally more familiar with now that I've done the research in preparation for this podcast. Polyandry is when a female 'mates with two or more males' and that's any critter, including humans. Laughing, men have dominated the research and mucked it up; over the millennia, females across a very broad range of species have been found to have mated with multiple males.  Men just can't seem to climb over their bias and see things for what they are: "monandry, when a female chooses just one male for her "relations", is what the men have said is most common in life. Laughing, yeah, for them. Let's discuss.

    Hello listeners, it's "Black History" month 2022 and even though I celebrate it daily, I'm pretty sure that you do not; Laughing, "ducks celebrate ducks", right? I'm a proud duck. You should be proud of your heritage too, right?  You better be proud; no one else is gonna do it for ya.
