Over working is my M.O. My friend Dimi asked why I do that. I told him I love helping people. I also love being busy. I feel like my life has a purpose if I am doing things, if I am helping others. I feel such fulfillment because of it.

But also been able to vet out the job, the people, and make sure she is aligned with people who are similar to her, but also different enough to challenge her and keep her growing.

This week we have a returning guest, Thomas Jockin. Thomas is an educator, a lover of type, and a practitioner (he creates fonts). He has been working on a very interesting project that is helping fight for literacy in a new way.

He was hired by Educational Therapist, Bonnie Shaver-Troup, to create a variable font which allows each person to set the spacing of the words. Then he got Google to fund the project. We will talk about how he got this project and what they are hoping to accomplish by using variable type to teach people to read.
