Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Thursday, December 24, 2020
Christ the newborn King was promised and provided via the little town of Bethlehem to pardon our sins. Pastor Steve’s Christmas Eve message considers several significant, faith-affirming connectors between Jesus and His hometown of Bethlehem. In response, Steve leaves us with the challenge to do what the humble shepherds who first heard of the Messiah’s birth did: Take the Good News and share it.

  • A Fearless Christmas (Program and Message)
Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, December 20, 2020
“An angel of the Lord appeared to him... saying, ‘Joseph... do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife...’” (Matthew 1:20); “The angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary...’” (Luke 1:30); “...(The shepherds) were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid...’”(Luke 2:10). For many, 2020 has been a year of fear. The fears that Mary, Joseph and the shepherds had may be different than ours, but we have the same reason and reassurance not to be afraid: Our Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Pastor Steve’s message explores the cause and cure for our fear, and reminds us that a fearless Christmas is only possible through faith in Christ. Audio also includes several samplings from our Christmas program.
