In light of the Uvalde elementary school shooting, this episode was pushed back. Now, in the wake of the trial, the families of the victims are in need of love and support as much as ever. We here at Creeps & Coffee are sending all of our love, and hope that they are able to find peace in all of this chaos. If you would like to help support the families of the Robb Elementary School shooting, you can find the official GoFundMe pages here. Thank you.
On April 20, 1999, the United States would experience one of its worst mass shootings. In the wake of the massacre at Columbine High School, Littleton, Colorado would be forever changed - and so would the world. Despite the heartwrenching reality of the situation, the case itself was open and shut. The perpetrators were found on the scene, both deceased, which required no further investigation. As such, upon closing the case, detectives destroyed the evidence to prevent 'groupies' from getting their hands on so-called "collectibles". Among this destroyed evidence were shell casings, notebooks, the failed bombs, and a tape made by the killers explaining their excitement leading up - it was dubbed 'The Basement Tapes'. What exactly was on these tapes will never be known to the general public; all that remains is a transcript to highlight the psychopathy behind the Columbine shooters. What led to the mass murder of innocent people? How intense were their delusions of grandeur? Join us this week as we analyze The Basement Tapes.
