Annie Leong Wai Mun was a dedicated mother, with a compassionate soul, & immense strength. She was trying to have a fresh start with her 4-year-old daughter, when the unimaginable occurred. Not only was what happened to Annie graphic, but it was methodically planned by a person who was once closest to her. True evil showed it’s wicked face in this episode.

In 2006– a night at the bar with friends, evolved into a massive mystery. The disappearance of Brian Shaffer is baffling, devastating, and ongoing. Where could this med student have gone? Was it foul play, an accident, or by choice? What happened after leaving the view of outdoor cameras? So many questions and not nearly enough answers.

Las Cruces, New Mexico. What started off as a slow morning opening a small town bowling alley, quickly ended in horror and tragedy. On February 10, 1990- seven people were completely changed and a community had been shaken to its core. This week’s episode covers two separate cases based out of the same Pennsylvania county. Samantha Lang was 22 years old when she was brutally murdered in March of 2007. Kelly Nicole Godfrey Smith was a young mother, whose life was tragically take in June of that same year. Both women need their stories told. Both women deserve justice.

Jean-Marie and Christine Villemin were living a parents worst nightmare. In October of 1984, their 4 year old son Grégory had gone missing from their front yard. Prior to this event, the Villemin’s had been receiving threatening letters and phone calls from an unknown person. Were these anonymous threats linked to the disappearance of their child? Blake Chappell was only 17 years old when he went missing in October 2011. From his perspectives on life, he was wise beyond his years and the type of person that others should strive to be. The Gruber family was living their life on Hinterkaifeck farm, until evil crept in one night. Multiple lives were taken in brutal and heinous ways. Strange occurrences had surrounded the farm before and after the murders, crime scenes had been botched, and theories ran wild. This case has now become one of Germany’s oldest unsolved murders of a family.
