The Media named him The Candy Man after he took his child's own life and put the risks of other children's lives at stake all because of his own misfortunes. In 2006, Robert Wone was crashing at the home of some friends in Washington DC after a legal seminar. About an hour after his arrival to the home of Joseph Price, Victor Zaborsky and Dylan Ward, a 911 call was placed from the house, where the operated was told that Wone had been attacked by an intruder. Theories about his death circulated for years until an affidavit was released stating exactly what went down at the DuPont Circle home that August, and allowing for officers to arrest the housemates on charges of obstruction. Erika walks us through the night of the crime from the POV of each person involved, more details from the affidavit, and what followed the arrest of the men. To this day, Robert and his loved ones still have not received justice. We hope to see this case solved soon.

Charles Albright had everyone fooled with his charisma, talents, and over overachieving personality. In July of 2011, Rebecca Zahau was found nude, bound, and hanging from the second-story balcony of her boyfriend, Jonah Shacknai’s California mansion. The same mansion where Shackni’s six-year-old son, Max, was found by Zahau at the end of the stairs just two days before Rebecca’s death. He died just a few days later, his death being ruled accidental. Zahau’s death was ultimately ruled a suicide. But those close to Rebecca didn’t buy it - other than it being out of character, she was tied up, and a cryptic message was left at the scene of her death. Rebecca’s family has been fighting for over ten years to bring her justice.

In 1990, Jennifer Schuett was abducted from her bedroom and dragged to a field, left for dead with her throat slashed. She was told she would never be able to speak again, but she was the only witness to her attempted murder - and she was determined to get the justice she deserved. It wouldn’t be until 2009 when the FBI, and Dickinson Police Department, with the help of Jennifer, finally solve the horrifying crime.

What is we told you that the murder of Teresita Basa was solved by....well, her own ghost. 47 year-old Teresita was brutally stabbed and burned to death in her apartment in Chicago, Illinois. Because of the lack of evidence caused by the fire, detectives really had nothing to go off of in terms of WHO could have committed this crime. Sip on some Bones Coffee with us as we divulge how the murderer was not only named but sentenced to time in prison through a very unconventional investigation. 

In the fall of 1984, Christine Jessop was abducted from her home in Queensville, Ontario. It would be months before police would have a suspect, or any break in the case. Then, her body was found in Sunderland on New Years Eve. Police think they have the man who committed the heinous crime, until DNA evidence exonerates him in 1995. The case would go cold yet again, until just a couple years ago.
