Indiana men's basketball picked up a huge win on the recruiting trail, pulling in 5 star forward Mackenzie Mgbako and further strengthening their 2023-24 roster. After a long week which saw most IU fans pre-emptively throwing in the towel due to Mgbako's perceived interest in Kansas, the fact that Indiana ended up being the final choice ends up further flipping the narrative on Mike Woodson's program and approach to recruiting. There really does appear to be some secret sauce in Bloomington. We discuss the implications of the commitment, evaluate Mgbako's fit into the lineup, and talk about Indiana's largely untapped recruiting weapon.

Indiana's roller-coaster season ended in disappointing fashion on Sunday, falling 85-69 to Miami in the 2nd Round of the NCAA Tournament. We recap the loss, talk through the issues that led to it, and discuss what lies ahead for IU men's basketball as they face a future that will likely look quite different than the present and recent past.

Indiana makes the second round of the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2016, knocking off Kent State and looking pretty good doing it.
