Black racist jurors don't realize they are doing what they accused white people of doing during Jim Crow, although slightly different cases (in degree). Mob justice was often a rush to judgement (revenge) on what they thought (incorrectly or not) happened to a family member. This doesn't excuse the lynching at all- but it is different in degree from the Jill Halliburton Sue case.

Why did it take so long for this case to go to trial

Jurors need to be asked if biased based on race during voire dire

One dissenting juror- hispanic-- use hispanics against blacks to disrupt the democrat party. Label the dems of the party solely for blacks, not hispanics.

What about the cost of the retrial?
